Answers to what publishers ask us most often about running a publication on News Apparatus.
- Which plan is right for us?
- Essential ($79/mo) is one small newsroom. Starter ($199/mo) is more articles, AI, email, and web push. Growth ($649/mo) adds memberships, course and event sales, and ads. Scale and Enterprise are on the pricing page.
- Can we use our own domain?
- Yes. Publish under a verified custom domain with tenant-scoped routing.
- Is my content isolated from other publishers on the platform?
- Yes. Every table, upload, and API key is scoped by tenant and enforced by row-level security.
- Does the AI publish without human review?
- Only if you opt in. By default, AI drafts land in a review queue for an editor to approve.
- Can we issue CE / CME credit?
- Accredited CME — certificates, transcripts, PARS, provider reporting — is on Scale. Growth can sell a course on the publication. That is commerce, not accreditation.
- Can we sell subscriptions to our own readers?
- Yes. Create membership plans with monthly or annual pricing, connect Stripe, and paywall premium articles, video, and courses. Readers see a configurable teaser before the paywall.
- Can we run live webinars and in-person events?
- Yes. The event wizard handles both virtual (Zoom) and in-person events, including registration, capacity, ticket pricing, attendance tracking, recordings, and credit awarded on minimum attendance.
- Does the ad system work with programmatic partners?
- Yes. Placements follow IAB standard sizes, and each site serves ads.txt and sellers.json so authorized sellers and resellers validate correctly.
